In addition to in-house studio events, bahdeebahdu has hosted arts organizations, the design trade, community groups, commercial vendors and private individuals as well. Always a hub for Philadelphia’s creative community, our unique 4,000 square foot space is likewise available to rent for special events.

On November 30th, bahdeebahdu will host its third annual fund-raiser to benefit St. Mary’s Family Respite Center, “Elemental: Au/Ag/Cu”. The Center serves children and families who are affected by HIV/AIDS here in Philadelphia and is the only one of its kind in America. We are asking 100+ artists, designers, collectors, creative and generous people to either create and/or donate “an element” of their making or choosing in a medium that resembles or contains Au (gold), Ag (silver) and/or Cu (copper) to be exhibited and sold the night of the opening reception. All proceeds will be donated to St. Mary’s to support its unique programs.

We look forward to having you participate and thank all of you who made last year’s benefit such an amazing event. We ask you to join us (again) this year. We need and love the creative and generous spirit to support these beautiful children and their families. Please share in this citywide effort to help sustain St. Mary’s elemental programs.
