In addition to in-house studio events, bahdeebahdu has hosted arts organizations, the design trade, community groups, commercial vendors and private individuals as well. Always a hub for Philadelphia’s creative community, our unique 4,000 square foot space is likewise available to rent for special events.

Please join us for the opening exhibition of Other Nature, featuring nine artists who utilize repurposed and found materials in sculptural and two-dimensional forms...

In our modern era, the life-giving and nurturing aspect of the earth has been redefined with the undeniable influence of humankind. No longer are we sustained solely by natural means, but also by forces, objects and processes perpetuated by our own willfulness. Through these acts, our once-beloved Mother Nature has been irreversibly altered and perhaps even disfigured by our own detritus. Galvanizing around this notion, Bahdeebahdu presents "Other Nature," an exhibition of nine who creatively labor with the discards of both of the past and present-day. In so doing, these talented artists produce thoughtful, multimedia work that reflects a scavenger's view of a world transformed.
