In addition to in-house studio events, bahdeebahdu has hosted arts organizations, the design trade, community groups, commercial vendors and private individuals as well. Always a hub for Philadelphia’s creative community, our unique 4,000 square foot space is likewise available to rent for special events.

"Philly, From the Inside Out" is the battle cry of newly-minted tourism venture Uwishunu. Focusing on the unconventional assets in Philadelphia that are attracting a new kind of visitor to the city, Uwishunu was offered a unique resource for their flagship project: Room 414 at the Westin Hotel. Celebrated Interior Designer RJ Thornburg and Noted Art Curator Eileen Tognini developed and carried the forrested theme of the room from beginning to end. The result is a fantastical array of custom-made furnishings, fixtures and finishes that showcases local Philadelphia artists and designers. Within the first week several noted international design and travel publications had already booked nights in the space with articles to come (check for updates on our press pages).
